In short: we only collect the details you leave in the form, and we measure how the site is used with Google Analytics and PostHog. We don't sell data, we don't send marketing email without your consent, and you can ask to see or delete your information at any time.

1. About this policy

calmodigital.com is operated by Calmo Digital, owned by Rotem Malul, in Israel. This policy explains what information is collected on the site and what we do with it, in line with Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment 13) and its Data Security Regulations. The Hebrew version of this policy is the binding one.

2. What we collect

  • What you give us: your name, phone, email and message in the contact form, or when you reach out by email or WhatsApp.
  • How the site is used: IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, the pages you visited, where you came from, and actions on the site such as clicks and form submissions. IP addresses are also kept in server logs for security.

You are not legally required to give us any details, but without them we can't get back to you.

3. Analytics with Google Analytics and PostHog

We use two tools to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it:

  • Google Analytics: measures traffic: how many visitors, where they came from, which pages they viewed, and whether the contact form was sent (without its content).
  • PostHog (servers in the EU): analyzes site usage and records sessions (Session Replay): scrolling, clicks and moving between pages. Everything typed into the form is masked in the recording, so your details are never captured in it.

These tools use cookies and local browser storage. You can block them in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and the site will keep working normally.

4. How we use the information

To get back to you and provide our services, to improve the site, to keep it secure and to meet legal requirements. We will not send you marketing messages without your explicit consent.

We don't sell data. Some information is shared with the providers we work with, such as Google Analytics, PostHog, our hosting and our email service, some of them outside Israel. Information is disclosed to authorities only when the law requires it.

5. Security and retention

Information is protected with encryption (HTTPS), restricted access and regular updates, in line with Israel's Data Security Regulations. Inquiry details are kept in the site's system and our mailbox for as long as they are needed to handle your inquiry and stay in touch, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

6. Your rights

You may access your information, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask to stop receiving marketing messages. Send a request to rotem@calmodigital.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you don't get a reply, you can contact Israel's Privacy Protection Authority.
